2008
- SJS' 55th Emerald Anniversary Celebration was marked by a community programme for the PDK Papar& Beaufort on 4th June, a community programme with friends of SJS on 5th June & a Concert Dinner on 6.6.2008 together with 25th Silver Anniversary for the SJS Alumni and with the support of the SJS PTA.
- SJS Hand Ball team sent 4 girls to the Under 18 and under 15 Hand Ball Competition at State level.
- SJS sent a representative eact to the girls and boys Under 18 basketball Competition at State Level.
- Alvin won bronze for individual and silver for team MSSM Under 15 Archery Competition at National Level.
- Sunia Yapp secured the state Champion for the MSSM Chinese Chess and the SAPP Chinese Chess Tournament.
- Sunia Yapp secured 5th placing for the MSSM State Chinese Chess
- Christopher Lee represented at the State Athletics Meet for Discus and Chryill Gerald for the 110 Hurdles 11 SJS students attended the international 100 Centenary Asia Pacific Acouts Meet and 1 Scout was chosen to attend the International Sunrise Scouts Programme in climbing Mt. Kinabalu.
- SJS took part in the KDCA-ISCEP fundraising concert on MAY 28th and sent 4 students (Gevenney, Noel, Colyn& Nicholas)
- SJS Drama Team emerged State Champion and represented Sabah to the National Drama Competition.
- SJS Choir team emerged State Champion and emerged 2nd Runner- up at the National Choir Competition.
2009
- Karate-do -State Kumite Gold & State Silver Team Kata
- Olahraga - 1 Silver Medal for State Level Competition
- Pn. Kamisah. Pn. Juliana and En. Fauzi on being awarded Guru Cemerlang Posts.
- SJS Nasyid Team Sabah Champion
- SJS Choir Team secured 1st Runner-up in the National State Competition.
- SJS awarded the Best Achievement for PMR 2008 and KOKUM 2008 durint the Papar District Level Teacher's Day celebration
- SJS emerged 7th Place in the state Public Speaking Competition and Rosemary Kiob represented SJS.
- SJS Drama Team took 2nd Runner-up at the State Drama Competition held in Sandakan.
- Ms Gertrude Jock was observed for Pengetua Cemerlang
- En Mohammad Zaidi was observed for Guru Cemerlang BM.
- Pn. Jenith Mahibol was observed for Guru Cemerlang BI
2010
- Alvin Roy secured State Champion In Archery.
- Sunia Yapp won District Level Third place in Chess.
- Natasya Soon won District Level Third in cross Country at Sukma XII Melaka 2010 for Athlete Time Record(Woman)
- Natasya Soon won National Champion in MTB XC at Sukma XII Melaka 2010 Athlete Time Record(Woman)
- SJS debate team participated in the District Level Debate Competition.
- SJS took third placing in District level Volleyball Competition.
- SJS took third placing in District Level hand Ball Competition.
- SJS Choir won 1st runner-up in the National Choir Level Competition for patriotic Songs
- Aina Suhaina Suhaimi won third place in national Cycling Teenagers' Circuit in Velodrum for sprint event, Persuade Individual and Elimnation Race.
- SJSJ emerged Champion in the National Level Analysis Competition for the World Habit Day.
- Aina Suhaina Suhaimi won champion in the State Level Tenom Lagut Sberang Competition.
2011
- Bahasa Melayu Debate Team secured 2nd Runner-up in District Level
- English Debate Team won 1st Runner-up in State Level
- Robotic Team won 1st place.
- Bitara Seni Member won to State Level Drawing Competition of Karya Tahunan Negeri Sabah.
- Drama won 1st place at District Level.
- SJS took part again in the KDCA-ISCEP to Korea on October and sent 4 student (Rosemary, Amanda, Alvin & Awah)
- SJS Choir Team secured 1st Runner-up in District Level for Patriotic Song
